Front desk was a great help with checking in; all staff was very friendly & welcoming! Room felt like an apartment. It had a small kitchen set up & a little living room area. A couple stains but overall, perfect stay! Will book again.

A cheap place to stay. Rooms are fine but don't expect anything fancy or nice. You do get a little kitchenette which is nice but my room had exactly 1 plate and a can opener nothing else. Bathroom is fine, toilet flushed a bit slow, I always felt it was going to back up. Rooms are clean. Again it's cheap so don't expect luxury or anything, if you just need a place to crash and leave this place is solid and has room for 3 maybe 4 people in a pinch.

Arrived at a fairly reasonable night-time hour, around 11PM, and nobody was at the desk, and there was no way to ring. The next guest behind me had to shout "HELLO!" a couple times to get the lady to appear from the back. We booked a two-queen suite, and initially got a one-king, but upon pulling a mild Karen (going right back to the desk), the lady showed and, since she could see the two-bed request and it was the system that did the wrong thing, generously upgraded us to the bedroom loft, which is normally about twice the price. The two-queen looked fine for the twenty seconds we had the door open. The loft was also nearly perfect: no rug smell, not a hair to be seen, but for a couple elements in the kitchen (see photos). There were three somewhat old and dumb Samsung TVs but that's the way I like them, as compared to Roku or the like, with all their ads and stalking.

This property's staff is amazing. They are kind professional and so personable. You can tell they take pride in what they do. The rooms are extremely clean and conveniently located to the highway, food and shopping. It's also safe and quiet. With that said this is a very dated property. If you are overly obsessed with ascetics this property is not for you. If you are budget budget conscious and focused on having a place to lay your head that is clean and safe, this is it. Keep in mind it IS NOT dilapidated it's just older and you can tell. GREAT VALUEVERY CLEANNICE STAFF

I stayed at Sonesta Simply Suites Cleveland North Olmsted Airport for three weeks while visiting a family member at the Cleveland Clinic. While it wasn’t perfect, the clean rooms, helpful staff, and convenient amenities would absolutely make me return for another extended stay. Pros: The staff here were consistently friendly and accommodating throughout my entire visit. They also offer several discounts for extended stays, caregivers, veterans, and Cleveland Clinic families—so definitely ask about those. If you join the Sonesta Travel Pass, you can earn points for future stays (BUT you won’t get credit if you book through third-party sites—learn from my fail!). My room and the hallways were always clean, and the space never had that “dingy hotel” smell. Housekeeping doesn’t come daily, but they do a good job keeping things tidy overall. The in-room kitchen was a lifesaver for a long stay. It had a full-sized fridge, microwave, stovetop, and plenty of cabinet space. The front desk even lets you borrow small appliances like crockpots or Instant Pots, which I thoroughly appreciated. Laundry machines are available on every floor and are very reasonably priced. This was probably one of my favorite parts since I only packed about a week’s worth of clothes. Another major perk: the location. There’s a Walmart literally across the street, which made grocery runs quick and easy. Cons: Soundproofing was almost nonexistent. I could hear conversations in nearby rooms, people walking in the hallway, and even the pipes when others showered. If you’re a light sleeper, bring earplugs or plan on using white noise to survive. Accessibility could be better. Only one of the two front doors is automated, and even that one requires a tug before it opens. This was a constant struggle with my walker or luggage. None of the interior doors (laundry room, guest rooms, etc.) are automated either, which added some frustration. While my room was mostly clean, I did have to wipe out the fridge and cabinets upon arrival, and the dishwasher had a melted pod stuck inside. Which brings me to the dishwasher. Like many people, I imagine, I hate washing dishes. Actually, I’m probably in the top 10 percent of dishwashing haters. So let me tell you—there are no words for the depths of disappointment I felt when the dishwasher (which is a decent size!) was totally non-functional. I tried running it multiple times on different cycles, even bought my own dish pods from Aldi. Nothing. That was probably the biggest letdown of my stay.

Booked one night at the desk. Nice hotel and friendly staff, cheap rooms. I arrived at midnight after a failed AirBnB check-in due to my late arrival into Cleveland airport. I had no issues getting a room, albeit it was a Wednesday night. The only eyebrow raising concern I had was acknowledging/agreeing to random room inspections. Not much detail was given in the contract so I can only speculate what that is about. Otherwise, 5 stars all around.

I’m doing this review specifically to Highlight Amber. Not Sonesta… She was the front desk attendant on November 18, 2025, the Night Shift. I booked on priceline.com, it didn’t mention anywhere, not even in the confirmation email, that there was an incidental charge. I didn’t know. I didn’t think they did. I know that they exist, I just didn’t know that Sonesta charged them. Spent my very last on the room. When I arrived to check-in, Amber greeted me. A very beautiful and friendly young lady. She unfortunately, had to tell me that the charge in fact exists and that she would not be able to check me in without it. She even called to see if there was anything that could be done. Life has been very stressful for me in the present. I haven’t come across very many compassionate people, while in my situation. When Amber informed me that there was an incidental charge, of course I became angry, hurt, and sad because all I wanted to do was shower and sleep! (Hadn’t gotten any sleep the previous night) I stepped outside for a little while to see what I can do, to hopefully obtain the money needed. When I came back in, Amber was on the phone, unbeknownst to me, orchestrating with her mother ( to whom I’m also leaving a review for) one of the best things anyone has ever done for me. Even though I did not get to stay at Sonesta, (that’s why I gave the 4 star rating) Her mother (who does not know me from a can of paint) In fact, found me one of the NICEST hotels to stay in, all expenses paid. She is phenomenal. An absolute gem!! People like her and her mother are very rare and beautiful. You do not see compassion like that at all anymore. Nor empathy. I thank God for both of them. Let’s just say, I was able to get a little bit of sleep and take a shower. From the very bottom of my heart, thank you Amber. You are a beautiful soul. And I mean that with my entire heart. Sonesta, you have an EXCEPTIONAL employee! That’s what hospitality and customer service looks like. She went above and beyond and she did not have to. She doesn’t know me. Even though I did not get to stay at Sonesta, their employee STILL took great care of me. That’s what makes it so wonderful. Thank you again. Thank you.

I stayed here 4 nights around 1/15/2026-1/19/2026. The room was really good. The bed is comfortable and some of the HBO television was good. My keycard kept not getting the door to unlock and that made smoking outside a little bit bothersome, if the keycard didn't work after smoking, and I had to go to the front desk. The gas station is a 2 minute walk.
